This isnt specific to the Apple Display, but appears to be necessary to get the Thunderbolt protocol to work properly.
1.) Data Execution Protection in the Virtualization section of the BIOS must be turned off. Hi since i havent seen anyone updating anything new to this thread, i decided to update you guys with the outcome that i had so far in regards of using apollo thundebolt with bootcamp, definitely i have to say its not completely compatible, but windows does recognize it through the UA software, i have a IMAC 2016 5k 8 rams and i use FL studio for my productions or beat making and apollo does work! however the plugins, recording, and anything that has to do with using the internal chips to process audio does not works, BUT you can still use it to make beats in fl studio, you have to tweak and mess around a litle bit with the buffering to get it stable but i have seen that it does work in that manner, so its not the way we all wanted to work but it has USE atleast, i have done my research and there is nothing yet that i found that can make the apollo record voice in bootcamp but the monitors and audio outputs are working fine, i have been using it alot because i love FL studio to make beats and i do go to the mac side to record my voices and use the whole apollo software to my advantage. The Lenovos BIOS needs some settings changed in order to allow the Apple Thunderbolt Display to work.
